Kurdish citizens kidnapped by Turkish occupation mercenaries in Afrin

Informed sources from the occupied city of Afrin reported that Turkish occupation mercenaries calling themselves "Ahrar al-Sharqiya" assaulted and kidnapped a number of Kurdish citizens who had come from Aleppo on the occasion of Eid al-Adha.

Among those kidnapped were identified as Rashid Sido Bakr, nicknamed (Abu Farhan), and his nephew, Aqeed Bakr, from the village of Kawanda in the Rajo district of occupied Afrin.

Sources confirmed that the kidnapping took place at exactly 12:00 midnight. The kidnappers arrived in four cars, assaulted the citizens, and kidnapped them at gunpoint.

The mercenaries also stole the car of citizen Aqeed Bakr and dragged it with them, after seizing the keys from the kidnapped citizen under threat of death.

In the areas occupied by Turkey and its mercenaries, attacks on civilians, including kidnappings, killings, and looting of their property, continue, despite the Damascus authorities claiming to have them under their control and that they are subordinate to the Ministry of Defense. Meanwhile, Syrian cities remain under occupation, without Damascus demanding an end to the occupation and the guarantee of the unity and integrity of Syrian territory.
