K.Star condemns violations against women in Tel Hasel - Tel Aran

The Kongra Star issued a statement today regarding the violations suffered by women and civilians in the towns of Tel Hasel and Tel Aran in the Aleppo countryside. The statement was read in the Antariya neighborhood of Qamishli by Kongra Star member Ahin Ibrahim.

The statement began by pointing to the serious violations committed by the security forces of the Syrian Interim Government in the towns of Tel Hasel and Tel Aran in Aleppo Governorate, including raids on homes, arrests of young men, and assaults on women.

The statement condemned these violations, asserting that they are "immoral and a blatant violation of the rights of women and civilians." It called on the interim government to reconsider its actions and practices against civilians, particularly women.

The conference statement affirmed its rejection of any violations against women in all Syrian regions.

The statement indicated that "these violations aim to intimidate the Kurds and seek to depopulate the region in order to alter its demographics."

It demanded that those responsible for these crimes against Kurdish women, civilians, and youth in Tel Hasel and Tel Aran be held accountable.
