Kobani residents: We won't leave our land

The people of Tal’ak village spoke to our agency regarding the danger and siege imposed on Kobani for the past 31 days. Hisham Haroun explained that the Syrian Interim Government is violating the agreement it signed with the Syrian Democratic Forces.

He added: "The attacks that started from Sheikh Maqsoud have reached the region, and they wanted to exterminate the Kurdish people from all sides. But we organized ourselves, joined the general mobilization, and protected our village from the enemy. We will never leave our homes."

Hisham Haroun also said that Kobani has been under a severe siege for a month. He added: "It’s true that Kobani is under siege, but our line of resistance is strong. We spend our nights and days protecting our village."

Victory Will Belong to the People

Hisham Haroun expressed his support for the People’s Protection Units (YPG), Women’s Protection Units (YPJ), and internal security forces, affirming that victory will be for the Kurdish people.

Narin Omar explained that the attacks on the people were severe and harsh, saying: "Through these attacks, the enemy wanted to exterminate the Kurdish people. But we are a resistant people; we resist the attacks and the siege, and we are strong. We will not leave our land."

She added that women, men, and youth of the village are protecting their land, concluding: "We will always resist and will never allow the enemy to occupy our land."
