Following the massacre carried out by the Turkish military on Sunday night, which claimed the lives of nine members of the same family in rural Kobani, widespread condemnation continues to emerge.

Jihan Habib, a local resident, stated:

"Despite the call for peace and democracy made by leader Abdullah Ocalan, Turkey persists in its attacks and massacres against civilians." She urged the United Nations to take immediate action to stop the attacks and protect civilians.

Similarly, Abdul Jabbar Barakat accused Turkey of launching brutal offensives against the Kurdish people with the intent of their eradication. He declared:

"No matter what Turkey does, it will not succeed in breaking our will."

Barakat also questioned the targeting of civilians, asking: "What crime had this family committed to be attacked while sleeping?"

Another resident, Abdul Salam Qafoor, linked Turkey’s escalating attacks to its military failures at the Tishrin Dam and Qaraqozak Bridge, arguing: "After failing to achieve its military objectives, Turkey has resorted to targeting civilians."

Qafoor called on the United Nations and human rights organizations to intervene immediately, stating:"We urge the international community to put an end to these brutal attacks on NE Syria."

The people of Amuda reaffirmed their resilience, vowing to continue their struggle for their rights and freedom.
