KNK met with unified Kurdish delegation in Qamishlo

As part of ongoing efforts to strengthen Kurdish unity and unify the political vision amid the rapid developments taking place in Rojava, a meeting was held this evening between a delegation of the KNK and the unified Kurdish delegation emerging from the Conference on Kurdish Unity and Position, convened on April 26. The meeting took place at the headquarters of the Democratic Union Party (PYD) in the city of Qamishlo.

The KNK delegation included: KNK Co-President Ahmad Qarmous, member of the KNK Presidential Coordination Sherko Hami Amin, member of the KNK Coordination Dr. Hakim Abdul Rahim, member of the Presidential Coordination Brwin Aziz, member of the Coordination Majda Abbas, in addition to member of the Kurdistan National Congress Committee in Rojava Suleiman Elias, and member of the KNK Administrative Body Akram Hesso.

The Joint Kurdish Delegation included: Co-President of the PYD Brwin Youssef, delegation member Rehan Luqo, Secretary of the Kurdish Democratic Progressive Party in Syria Salah Darwish, President of the Kurdish National Council in Syria Mohammed Ismail, members of the KNC Presidency Suleiman Oso and Faisal Yusuf, and Deputy Secretary of the Kurdish Democratic Progressive Party in Syria Ahmad Suleiman.

During the meeting, both sides discussed the latest developments in Rojava, focusing on ways to unify the Kurdish vision and stance during the current phase facing the Kurdish people, away from media coverage.
