Killed, wounded, captured in Sweida countryside

The National Guard Command in Sweida announced that areas in the Sweida countryside witnessed a military escalation from Wednesday morning till Thursday dawn, accusing the Syrian Interim Government forces of carrying out a series of attacks that resulted in deaths, injuries, and kidnappings.

In a statement published on social media, the Command stated that the attacks included missile and drone strikes, as well as arrests and kidnappings. It reported that four people were killed, four others were wounded, and 19 kidnappings were recorded.

The statement explained that three people were killed in the agricultural lands of the town of Najran, while 12 civilians were detained at a checkpoint in the town of al-Matuna. Four people were also killed and seven others were kidnapped in the area between the towns of Baka and Bard.

It added that a position in the town of Baka was attacked by two drones, one of which was shot down, recording an injury, while the town was targeted with several Grad rockets, which led to a house being burned and three women being injured.
