Kidnapping and murder in rural Daraa

Unknown armed men kidnapped a young man from the city of As-Suwayda after intercepting his car in the countryside of Daraa, and a woman was killed in two separate incidents.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights SOHR reported that unidentified gunmen kidnapped a young man after intercepting his car on the "Mseifra - Karak al-Sharqi" road in the countryside of Daraa, and took him to an unknown location.

The two incidents occurred in Daraa within less than 24 hours, due to the ongoing chaos and security breakdown in the areas under the control of the Damascus government and its inability to maintain security there.
