Kadar Pîrê: Support for Eastern Kurdistan continues at home and abroad

The director of the Kurd Without Borders Organization, Kadar Pîrê, spoke to our agency about the crimes committed by the Iranian regime for years against the Kurdish people in Eastern Kurdistan, its recent attacks on the territory of Southern Kurdistan, and the importance of Kurdish unity and the outcomes it may bring.

Kadar Pîrê recalled that the Kurd Without Borders Organization was founded in 2010 in Beirut, the capital of Lebanon, with the aim of working to prevent the crimes committed by the Iranian regime against the Kurdish people. He said:

“Every year, approximately 200 to 300 of our young men and women are executed. After the beginning of the Syrian crisis, we became occupied with it. But today we say that the time has come again to focus our work on Eastern Kurdistan.”

On the situation in Eastern Kurdistan, Pîrê explained that the suffering there is extremely severe, adding:

“Just as the Kurds supported West Kurdistan, Kurds in Kurdistan must also support Eastern Kurdistan. This also includes South Kurdistan, as South Kurdistan is facing a major danger.”

Pîrê pointed out that the importance of Kurdish unity lies in guaranteeing the existence of the Kurdish people, stating:

“As has become clear recently, the friends and allies of the Kurds are the Kurds themselves.”

He also indicated that they are engaged in activities and movements to support the Kurdish people in Eastern Kurdistan, and that their work inside Kurdistan and abroad will continue through meetings and by conveying the demands of the Kurdish people to public opinion.
