The event was held on the banks of the Black Spring in the Alya area in the northern countryside of Çil Axa.

The message was read by the young woman Sulin Omar. In the message, leader Abdullah Ocalan emphasized that March 8 (International Women’s Day) is a call to develop the “Women’s Freedom Revolution” based on the science of women (Jineology) and on organizing a moral and political society.

He also called for intensifying the struggle for liberation, dismantling male capitalist dominance over the economy and the body, and reviving the historical role of women.
