Kongra Star issued two statements in Lebanon and Kobani denouncing the Turkish occupation’s brutal attack that targeted Haifa Al-Arabo, a coordination member of Kongra Star, and Delawar Al-Arabo, a member of the PYD.

The statements condemned the heinous crime committed by the Turkish occupation and emphasized that “this cowardly assault is just another episode in the continuous violations and crimes of the Turkish occupation against the people of North and East Syria.”

They pointed out that their martyrdom together, as members of the same family, is clear evidence of the brutality of the Turkish occupation, which does not distinguish between civilians and combatants, men and women, but targets anyone who calls for freedom and dignity.

In both statements, Kongra Star affirmed that this crime would not deter it from continuing its struggle for the freedom of its people and the rights of women.

The Kongra called on the international community and human rights organizations to assume their responsibilities regarding these crimes and to impose the necessary sanctions on Turkey to halt its ongoing aggression.

They vowed to the martyrs that “their blood will not be in vain and that their journey will continue to guide us until victory and justice are achieved.”
