Joint Security delegation meets at Semalka Crossing to coordinate security, administrative procedures

The Commander of the Internal Security Forces (Asayish), Mahmoud Khalil Ali, and the Head of Internal Security in Al-Hasakah, Colonel Marwan Ali, met with a delegation from the Interim Government, led by the Director of Land and Sea Crossings, at the Semalka Crossing to put the crossing into operation and coordinate security and administrative procedures.

A joint security delegation arrived at the Semalka Crossing, including Mahmoud Khalil Ali, Commander of the Internal Security Forces (Asayish), and Colonel Marwan Ali, Head of Internal Security in al-Hasakah, along with a delegation from the Interim Government led by the Director of Land and Sea Crossings. The visit was part of field meetings concerning the management mechanisms of the checkpoint at the crossing.

During the meeting, both sides discussed ways to put the crossing into operation and to coordinate security and administrative procedures at the border point. They also outlined a comprehensive roadmap to implement the necessary administrative and logistical mechanisms for officially launching the crossing, ensuring organized traffic flow and regulated commercial exchange, in accordance with the provisions of the January 29 agreement between the Syrian Democratic Forces and the Interim Government in Syria.
