Jazera Canton is preparing for massive rally

On the occasion of the tenth anniversary of the Declaration of the Democratic Autonomous Administration (January 21, 2014), denouncing the occupation attacks on NE Syria and emphasizing the preservation of the achievements of the peoples and the revolution, the Democratic Autonomous Administration organizes a rally and a mass meeting in Qamishlo.

The rally will start at 11:00 on January 21 from the Othman Sabri roundabout, and will continue until the March 12 Martyrs Stadium, turning there into a mass meeting, during which speeches will be delivered on behalf of the Democratic  Autonomous Administration, Kongra Star, and the Martyrs’ Families Council.

Preparations for the rally, in which one hundred thousand people are expected to participate, continue in many cities and districts of Jazira Canton.

Regarding the program of the event, the member of its preparatory committee, Hozan Majdo revealed to ANHA agency that the slogan of the rally and the meeting is “We will defeat the occupation and preserve our revolution with the sense of the revolutionary people.”

He stated that in addition to the city center of Qamishlo, the people of four districts, namely Amuda and Tirbespiye will join the rally. , Çil Agha, and Girkê Legê, as well as the city of Derik and the areas of Tel Hamis and Tel Kocher.

Hozan Majdo indicated that they also called on political parties, social institutions and organizations to participate.

Tomorrow (January 20), leaflets calling for participation in the mass meeting will be distributed, and cars will roam the streets of cities and suburbs for the same purpose.

Hozan Majdo pointed out that they will send a message emphasizing the strengthening of the struggle against all occupation attacks targeting the Autonomous Administration and the region’s infrastructure.

At the conclusion of his speech, Hozan Majdo called on all residents and all components to participate in the rally.
