An Israeli military force carried out an incursion into the village of Al-Samdaniya in the eastern Quneitra countryside last night, searching five houses before withdrawing to their positions. No arrests or clashes were reported, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

The patrol consisted of five military vehicles and approximately 25 soldiers. They entered the village and then withdrew without announcing the reasons for the incursion.

On Saturday, Israeli military forces carried out other incursions into the central Quneitra countryside, setting up temporary checkpoints on several roads, including the road between the villages of Kodna and Bariqa, as well as a checkpoint at the entrance to the village of Zubaydah. These checkpoints prevented and searched civilians.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights in Syria confirmed an increase in the number of checkpoints and searches in the area recently, with a number of civilians arrested and interrogated for hours before being released.
