Israeli incursion in Quneitra countryside

The southern Quneitra countryside witnessed a new Israeli incursion on Saturday. A military convoy of approximately 30 four-wheel-drive vehicles carrying soldiers entered from the Golan Heights and deployed inside the village of al-Asha without any direct contact with residents.

These movements come in the context of the continued Israeli military deployment inside Syrian territory, amid official silence from the Damascus government.

Yesterday, the town of al-Samadaniyya al-Sharqiya witnessed a similar incursion, with several military vehicles, accompanied by a tank, entering a residential neighborhood.

According to the Syrian Observatory, Israeli forces carried out extensive raids and searches of homes and facilities. The search operations are still ongoing, sparking fear and anxiety among residents.

Yesterday, the Israeli army announced that it had carried out a series of nighttime operations in southern Syria in recent days, resulting in the arrest of a number of individuals. It also noted that the sweeps conducted by its forces uncovered weapons in the areas where the operations took place
