Israeli incursion in Quneitra and Daraa Countryside

The countryside areas of Quneitra and Daraa have witnessed a new Israeli escalation, involving shelling in the vicinity of Turanjah and incursions into Ma'ariya and Al-Aridah, raising residents' fears of continued escalation

Local sources reported that artillery shells fired by Israeli forces landed in the vicinity of Turanja village in the northern countryside of Quneitra; no casualties were reported.

The sources added that Israeli forces made an incursion at dawn today into the villages of Ma'ariya and Al-Aridah in the Yarmouk Basin area, west of Daraa. Accompanied by military vehicles and a bulldozer, they cleared a road and established a military checkpoint inside Al-Arida village.

According to the sources, Israeli forces dropped leaflets in several Yarmouk Basin towns warning residents against blocking roads or obstructing the movement of vehicles; there were no reports of clashes or arrests.

These developments occur amidst repeated Israeli shelling and incursions into parts of the Quneitra and Daraa countrysides, raising residents' concerns about continued escalation
