An Israeli patrol set up a checkpoint to inspect passersby at the entrance to the village of al-Samdaniyah al-Gharbiyah in Quneitra central countryside, without any arrests being reported.

This comes amid ongoing Israeli military activity in southern Syria, amid a lack of any official response from the Transitional Government.

On February 13th, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented an escalation in Israeli military movements in the Quneitra and Daraa countrysides, including ground incursions and overflights.

These movements included the entry of ground forces, the arrest of civilians, the bulldozing of agricultural land, and the establishment of temporary checkpoints, directly impacting the lives of residents, particularly farmers, shepherds, and villagers near the ceasefire line.
