The number of victims of the shooting carried out by Interim Government factions in the village of al-Matouna in Sweida countryside has risen to 5 dead after a young man died from his injuries, following the incident that occurred on February 8, which resulted in the death of 4 farmers and the injury of 2 people.

The death toll from the shooting carried out by factions of the Syrian Interim Government in the village of al-Matouna in the northern countryside of Sweida has risen to five, following the death of the young man Firas Ahmad al-Halabi from his injuries.

Al-Halabi had been transferred to Sheikh Zayed Hospital in critical condition after the incident, which occurred on February 8, and resulted in the deaths of four people and the injury of two others.

This crime is indicative of escalating security tensions in Sweida countryside, where the lives of local civilians are subjected to repeated violations by factions of the Syrian Interim Government.
