Israeli forces arrested four people today as they passed through a military checkpoint established on the road connecting Khan Arnabah town and the village of Ofaniya in the northern Quneitra countryside, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

The Observatory said that no information was yet available about the fate of those arrested.

Meanwhile, Israeli forces set up two military checkpoints in the Quneitra countryside. The first was in the village of al-Mushairifa, involving five military vehicles, while the second was near the United Nations position on the road to Jubbata al-Khashab, involving around eight military vehicles.

These movements come amid continued Israeli incursions and military deployments in parts of the Quneitra countryside, raising concerns among residents about the impact of the checkpoints and arrests on their safety and freedom of movement.
