Israeli army tightens military measures in Quneitra countryside

The Israeli army set up a military checkpoint on the Hader-Tarjin road in the northern countryside of Quneitra, which led to the prevention of movement for residents and farmers in the area. Additionally, a buildup of Israeli troops and military equipment was observed in the Al-Tulul al-Hamra area north of Quneitra.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that the Israeli army established a military checkpoint on the Hader-Tarjin road in the northern countryside of Quneitra, preventing the movement of residents and armed groups in the region. Five Israeli tanks were stationed in the Al-Tulul al-Hamra area, accompanied by around 100 Israeli troops.

Furthermore, military vehicles were deployed in positions between the towns of Beit Jin and Hader in the northern sector of Quneitra, southwest of Syria.

These movements follow the Israeli incursion on April 9 into the village of Tarjin in the northern countryside of Quneitra, during which one of the village houses was raided, and thorough searches were conducted.

These operations coincide with the escalation of tensions on the southern front, amid warnings of increasing Israeli movements in the region.
