The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that Israeli forces established a checkpoint at the first Ufania village junction, before the Al-Hurriya junction, where they inspected vehicles and detained passersby.

The source clarified that no information about arrests was reported before the forces withdrew to Al-Hurriya village in the Quneitra countryside.

This step comes amid ongoing tensions in the southern region, alongside repeated military movements and Israeli forces’ mobilization along the border strip.

On October 11th, the area around the Tablīn road between the towns of Ma'allaqa and Saida in Quneitra countryside witnessed Israeli military movements. Israeli forces also set up a temporary checkpoint in the area and began inspecting passersby and checking identities.
