Israeli army forces have detained a group of individuals in Syria’s Quneitra countryside, according to footage circulated by activists, who claimed the detainees were “members of the transitional government forces.”

Activists on social media shared scenes showing Israeli soldiers arresting several people dressed in civilian clothing in the village of Breika in rural Quneitra. The activists said the detainees belonged to the Syrian transitional government's forces.

According to local sources, Israeli troops set up a temporary checkpoint at the village entrance and stopped several individuals.

This incident comes amid a series of incursions and arrests carried out by Israeli forces in the border region, with neither deterrence nor clarification from the transitional government. Meanwhile, public demands have been increasing for official statements on the fate of the detainees and the circumstances of their arrest.
