Iran’s state television, citing a statement from the Revolutionary Guard, said an Israeli-made Hermes drone was intercepted and destroyed over Lar on Wednesday by the Guard’s advanced air defense system.

The statement added that the entry of any U.S. or Israeli aircraft into Iranian airspace—even without carrying out military operations—would be considered a violation of the ceasefire and would be met with a firm response.

The United States and Iran had agreed to a two-week ceasefire mediated by Pakistan, a step that could end a six-week war that killed thousands and sent shockwaves across the Middle East, severely disrupting global energy supplies.
