The "Freedom Campaign for Activist and Prisoner Bakhshan Azizi" reported that the Iranian authorities have imposed new sanctions on several female prisoners, among them Bakhshan Azizi, Wariesha Moradi, and Narges Mohammadi.

The Freedom Campaign for Bakhshan Azizi issued a statement on its website regarding the situation of female prisoners at Evin Prison.

The statement included the following:

"The Kefir 2 Court, presided over by Judge Abu Fazel Amiri, issued new sanctions against five female inmates at Evin Prison."

The statement reported that an additional six-month sentence was imposed on Wariesha Moradi, Bakhshan Azizi, Narges Mohammadi, and Mahbubeh Rezaei for what the court deemed failure to comply with orders.

Additionally, a three-month and one-day sentence was imposed on Perwish Muslim on charges of disrupting prison security.
