Swedia has witnessed a complete internet blackout and severe disruptions to telecommunications services, coinciding with a blockade imposed by the interim government, deepening isolation and hindering communication and essential services, without any official clarification from the relevant authorities.

Today, Swedia experienced a total outage of ADSL internet services, alongside a severe deterioration in mobile telecommunications networks, resulting in major difficulties in communication and access to digital services.

This disruption comes amid the blockade imposed by factions of the interim government since the attacks of 13 July, raising concerns among residents about its repercussions on living conditions and basic services, particularly in the health, humanitarian relief, and education sectors.

Residents reported that the weak telecommunications and internet outage have intensified isolation and obstructed communication with the outside world, at a time when no official statement has been issued by the relevant authorities regarding the reasons for the disruption or a timeline for the restoration of services.
