Internal Security Forces down reconnaissance drone in Aleppo

The Internal Security Forces in Aleppo announced that they shot down a drone belonging to Syria’s transitional government forces on the outskirts of the Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood, stressing that this comes amid continued violations of the April 1 agreement.

The Media Center of the Internal Security Forces in Aleppo issued a statement today announcing the downing of a drone on the outskirts of the Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood in the city of Aleppo.

The statement said: “Our forces shot down, this afternoon, a reconnaissance drone belonging to factions of the transitional government on the outskirts of the Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood in the city of Aleppo.

These factions continue on a daily and repeated basis to use reconnaissance drones over the Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafieh neighborhoods, in a clear violation of the agreement signed on April 1, in parallel with the continuation of the suffocating siege imposed on the residents of both neighborhoods.”
