Internal Security Forces dismantle a cell of ISIS mercenaries in Deir ez-Zor countryside

The Internal Security Forces Media Center published news on its official website, in which it noted: “In a qualitative operation, our special forces were able to dismantle an ISIS cell and arrest six members involved in terrorist operations in the western countryside of Deir ez-Zor at dawn today, Sunday, October 22.”

The center continued: “After investigations and information gathering operations carried out by our security forces in the General Security Service about ISIS cells that are involved in assassinations and detonating explosive devices, in addition to members working within the media agencies affiliated with the terrorist organization ISIS, our security forces were able to determine the whereabouts of six individuals.” The cell, in a successful and precise operation by our special forces, H A T, was able to arrest six members and confiscate the weapons and ammunition in their possession, namely:
