In high spirits, they continue their shift on Tishreen Dam

For the eighth day in a row, the people of Raqqa, Tabqa, and Deir ez-Zor provinces continue to organize various activities at the Tishreen Dam, stressing that protecting the dam is a national duty.

Today, the people of North and East Syria entered their eighth day in a row to protect the Tishreen Dam from attacks, by organizing diverse and rich activities. These activities include discussion sessions on resistance methods and the importance of their steadfastness on the dam, in addition to how to deter attacks. They also talk about the future of Syria during the evening, hold popular dances, and organize cleaning campaigns to clean the dam during the morning and afternoon.

The shifters confirm that these shifts are part of the resistance and protection of the dam, and that they are a national duty, expressing their determination to continue these activities.

Shidt activities on the Tishreen Dam to protect it from Turkish attacks began on January 8, as thousands of people from the NE Syria region headed towards the dam. The Turkish occupation state targeted the residents’ convoy, resulting in the death of 3 civilians and the injury of 15 others.
