Imrali delegation meets with AKP

The delegation, including MP Pervin Buldan, MP Medhat Sanjar, and Human Rights Office member Faiq Ozgur Arol, visited the AKP in Parliament.

They were received by AKP Parliamentary Group Chair Abdullah Güler, AKP spokesperson Ömer Çelik, and Deputy Parliamentary Group Chair Afkan Ala.

After the meeting, both delegations gave statements to the press.

Abdullah Güler thanked the Imrali delegation and noted that all political parties had submitted reports to the parliamentary committee, adding that they had recently submitted their own report and conducted extensive evaluations.

“No peace without law”

MP Pervin Buldan thanked the AKP delegation and said the meeting discussed the current stage of the process. She emphasized that proposals were exchanged, noting: “There is no peace without law. The current stage requires a legal foundation. We are in a new phase, and our visits and dialogues will continue.”

“Planning to meet the President”

MP Medhat Sanjar added that they discussed many issues and exchanged views on the current stage of the process. He stressed the importance of building a shared legal foundation, political agreement, and social cohesion. He said future plans include meetings with the Minister of Justice, the Speaker of Parliament, and later the President of the Republic.
