Ilham Ahmed: Agreement between SDF, Interim Govt key step towards stability

Ilham Ahmed published a statement on her platform "X" regarding the agreement reached between the Interim Government in Syria and the SDF.

She expressed her gratitude to the countries and mediating parties, notably the United States and France, for their tireless efforts to reach an agreement between the government and the SDF.

She emphasized: "The agreement between the Syrian government and the SDF represents an important step towards stability. We hope it will play the role of guarantor for the integration process."

She also pointed out: "The deployment of security forces comes to ensure a responsible and gradual integration process that guarantees partnership, preserves the dignity of all components, and paves the way for fair and balanced development across various regions."

In her statement, she wrote: "We express our deep gratitude to the countries and mediating parties, led by the United States and France, which exerted diligent efforts to reach an agreement between the Syrian government and the SDF, which represents an important step towards stability. We hope it will play the role of guarantor for the integration process.
