The death toll from the explosion in Idlib has risen to 14 killed and 12 injured, amid extensive damage, reports of missing persons, and ongoing search operations.

The number of casualties from the explosion at a “temporary” ammunition depot belonging to the Ministry of Defense, located on the Sarmada highway in northern Idlib countryside near the Kamouna camp, has risen to 14 killed and 12 injured, including critical cases, according to a preliminary toll. There are also reports of missing persons.

The explosion, which occurred today, was followed by a series of successive blasts that caused significant material damage in the surrounding area.
