ID civilian who martyred in Turkish occupation's bombing on Qereçoxê

In a statement issued today, the Council of Martyrs' Families in the city of Derik revealed the identity of the civilian who was martyred yesterday in targeting a Turkish occupation drone on the village of Qereçoxê in the countryside of Derik.

The statement condemned, at the beginning, the ongoing attacks of the Turkish occupation on the region of North and East Syria, as well as the silence of the international powers regarding these crimes committed against the people of the region.

The council confirmed that, as a result of the targeting that took place yesterday on Mount Qereçoxê, the civilian Ahmed Ali, who from the city of Serekaniye, which has been occupied by Turkey and its mercenaries since 2019, was martyred and displaced to the city of Derik with his family from his city.

At the end of the statement, the freedom-loving peoples of the world and all human rights organizations called for working to push for international pressure to stop the Turkish occupation’s attacks on the region of North and East Syria.
