Today, the media center of the People’s Defense Forces (HPG) issued a statement about the operations carried out by the Gêrîla against the Turkish occupation army and the occupation attacks from January 18 to the 22 of the same month, which stated:

“The Unit of the Martyr Axîn Mosh:

On January 22, at 16:23, our forces targeted a Turkish occupation container in the Resistance Square in Bahar Hill in the Martyr Dalil area, west of Zap, from the air. The container caught fire and was destroyed.

In the area of ​​Martyr Dalil, west of Zap:

On January 18, at 1:00 p.m., our forces targeted the Turkish occupation army in the Resistance Square in Amadiye Hill with heavy weapons.

On January 21, at 09:00, our forces targeted the occupation army in the Resistance Square in Amadiya Hill with heavy weapons.

On January 22, at 11:20, Free Women’s Units fighters targeted the enemy army in the Resistance Square on Amadiya Hill with heavy weapons.

On January 22, at 14:10, Free Women’s Units fighters sniper-targeted the Turkish occupation army in the Resistance Square in Amadiya Hill, killing a Turkish soldier.

On January 18, at 1:50 p.m., Free Women’s Units fighters targeted the Turkish occupation army in the Resistance Square in Bahar Hill with heavy weapons.

On January 19, at 15:30, Free Women’s Units fighters targeted enemy soldiers in the Resistance Square in Bahar Hill with semi-automatic weapons, which led to stopping the soldiers’ movements.

On January 21, at 16:45, Free Women’s Units fighters destroyed the Turkish occupation’s surveillance camera system in the Resistance Square in Bahar Hill by snipers.

On January 22 at 12:20, our forces targeted the Turkish occupation army in the Resistance Square in Sergel with heavy weapons.

On January 22 at 13:30, 13:45 and 14:00, our forces targeted the Turkish occupation soldiers who were heading towards the war tunnels in the Resistance Square in Judy Hill with heavy weapons, forcing the soldiers to withdraw.

In the Mtina area:

On January 20, our forces seized the Turkish occupation army’s surveillance camera system in the Resistance Square in Beşil.

On January 21, at 1:40 p.m., Free Women’s Units fighters targeted Turkish occupation soldiers in the Resistance Square in Serê Metina with heavy weapons, and the enemy’s movements were stopped.

On January 22 at 10:30, our forces targeted enemy soldiers who were in the midst of movement in the Resistance Square in Beşil with heavy weapons, and the soldiers’ movements were stopped.

On January 22, at 15:30, our forces shot down a Turkish occupation army drone in the Resistance Square in Serê Metina.

Turkish occupation army attacks with prohibited weapons:

On January 18 and 19, the war tunnels in the FM Hill Resistance Square were bombed five times with banned explosives.

On January 19 and 22, the war tunnels in the Resistance Square in Shilaza were bombed 6 times with banned explosives and 5 times with chemical gases.

Turkish occupation army attacks:

Between January 18 and 23, Turkish warplanes bombed 19 times the resistance squares in Barbezin, martyr Sharif, Senin, Loulan and Koshin in the Khakurk region, and 13 times the squares of Kanisark, Spindar, Diraş, Sisir, Zivik, Yakmal, Majah, and Derya Hurj and Dinart in the Gari region, 4 times the resistance squares in Serê Metina and Beşil in Matina, 5 times in the resistance squares in Judy Hill in the Martyr Dalil area west of Zap, a total of 41 times.
