HPG: KDP ambushed guerrillas in Avashin

 The Press Center of the People's Defense Forces (HPG) issued a statement today regarding the guerrilla operations and attacks of the Turkish occupation army, which reads:

 "In the Martyr Delil area west of Zap:

 On December 16 at 13:18, our forces of the Free Women's Units-Star targeted and destroyed one of the occupation's surveillance cameras in Amedya Hill.

 On December 17, our forces of the Free Women's Units-Star targeted the occupation soldiers who wanted to advance towards our combat tunnels on Jundi Hill 8 times with heavy weapons, and then stopped the movements of the occupiers.

 On December 17 at 13:550, our forces targeted the occupation soldiers with heavy weapons and stopped their movements in Amedya Hill.

 On December 18 at 13:20, our forces targeted and destroyed one of the occupation's surveillance cameras in Amedya Hill.

 On December 18 at 11:33, our forces targeted the occupation soldiers with heavy weapons and stopped their movements in Sargel.

 On December 19 at 12:30, our forces targeted the occupation soldiers with heavy weapons and stopped their movements in the resistance square in Sargel.

 In Matina area:

 On December 19 at 10:30, our forces targeted and destroyed one of the occupation's surveillance cameras in Serei Matina.

 In Xakurk area:

 On December 18 at 20:00, our forces targeted the attack helicopters with semi-automatic weapons in Sanin, and after our forces intervened, the helicopters were forced to leave the square.

 Attacks of Turkish occupation army with prohibited weapons:

 On December 17-18, our combat tunnels in FM Hill were bombed twice with prohibited weapons in the Shahid Dalil area west of Zap.

 On December 19, our combat tunnels in Judi Hill were bombed 4 times with prohibited weapons in the Shahid Dalil area west of Zap.

 On December 19, our combat tunnels in Bahar Hill were bombed once with prohibited weapons in the Shahid Dalil area west of Zap.

 Attacks of the Turkish occupation army:

 On December 17, 18, 19 and 20, warplanes bombed the squares of Dashta Kafia, Spindar, Mece, Keriye, Avtel, Kanisrik, Yakamal and Diraş in the Gari region 13 times, the squares of Martyr Cihan Hill, Newroz Square, Bukriskan, Zerkel and Bibala in the Qandil region 7 times, the squares of Lolan, Martyr Hawar Hill, Barbazan and the resistance square in Martyr Zinar Hill in the Xakurk region 7 times, and the resistance square in Seri Metina in the Metina region twice: thus, the total number is 29 times.

 On December 17, 18 and 19, attack helicopters bombed the resistance areas on the Judi Hill in the Martyr Dalil area west of Zap 32 times, and the resistance area in the Xakurk area 3 times, making a total of 35 attacks.

 The People's Defense Forces (HPG) said: "On December 11, a group of our comrades who were performing their duty in the Avashin area encountered an ambush set by the KDP forces, and a short-term clash broke out with the KDP forces who attacked our team of guerrillas with gunfire."
