HPG: Destruction of a Turkish occupation drone in Zap

The Media Center of the People's Defense Forces (HPG) issued a statement regarding the operations of the Guerrilla forces and the attacks of the Turkish occupation army in the period between 10 and 13 December. It stated:

“In the area of Martyr Dalil, west of Zap:

On December 12, our forces destroyed a Turkish explosive drone that was trying to bomb the war trenches in the FM Hill Resistance Square.

Turkish occupation army attacks with booby-trapped explosives, chemical gases, and booby-trapped drones:

On December 10 and 11, the Turkish occupation army bombed the war trenches in the resistance square on Orti Hill in the Matina area once with prohibited explosives and 11 times with chemical gases, and it was proven that the chemical gases used were red in color.

On December 12, the occupation army once bombed the war trenches in the Siyda Resistance Square in the Zap region with prohibited explosives.

Turkish occupation army attacks:

On December 11, 12, and 13, Turkish warplanes bombed 5 times the village of Darkel and the village of Beyşil in the Metina region, and once Sheikh Nasser Square in the Qandil region, and 8 times the Cochin, Martyr Sharif and Rost Hill squares in the Khakurk region, and 6 times Wadi Miran and Khairy. Kanisark and Zinkel in the Gari area, i.e. the aforementioned areas were bombed 20 times.

The areas of Zap, Martyr Dalil West Zap, Matina and Khakurk were also subjected to artillery shelling.”
