House Foreign Affairs Committee calls on Al-Sharaa to follow Kurdish experience

The U.S. House Foreign Affairs Committee stated that the Kurdish people are steadfast partners of the United States and have long struggled for a better future for Syria. The committee called on the head of Syria’s interim government, Ahmad Al-Sharaa, to work for his country instead of fighting against the Kurdish people.

In a post published on its official website, the committee affirmed that the Kurdish people have fought for a long time for a better future for Syria and have been reliable partners of the United States.

The statement came in response to attacks by mercenaries of the interim government in Syria against the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).

The committee urged Ahmad Al-Sharaa to adopt the Kurdish approach and work toward building the future of his country, rather than engaging in conflict against the Kurdish people.
