 The Preparatory Committee for uniting Kurdish forces in Rojava, Kurdistan, has expanded to include two new parties. The committee awaits a response from the Kurdish National Council to convene a conference on this matter. (Photos and videos attached.)

 The components of Tal Kojar in Jazira Canton lauded the historic resistance of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and the Women’s Protection Units (YPJ) against the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries on the frontlines. They stated, “We will protect our land, the gains of our martyrs, and confront the occupation’s schemes.” (Photos and videos attached.)

 With small bags holding the remnants of their homeland and seven years of resilience, the displaced people of Afrin—dispersed by the Turkish occupation—continue to raise their voices demanding a safe return to their lands, which they were forced to leave twice.  “When people are oppressed, their existence becomes a daily death. Neither the earth nor life welcomes them; they live as hypocrites, enduring daily insults and humiliation, with no value or purpose, their faces stained with shame. However, to die on an unspoiled rock, in a free plain, or on pure land untouched by occupiers or hypocrites—this is the true meaning of freedom. Let my pillow be a mountain stone, my cover the straw of the fields, and my bed the red soil beneath me. Then, death becomes my rightful fate. I do not fear death, but I fear dying without worth or dignity—that would be unjust and meaningless to me. This, I cannot accept. Many young people sacrificed their lives at the prime of their youth, becoming heroes of democracy, peace, and equality so all people could stand united under one banner against brutality, occupation, and aggression.”

 Participants in the Riyadh meeting agreed to stand by the Syrian people's choices and respect their will. Meanwhile, Lebanese expressed optimism regarding new political developments in Lebanon and Iran’s attempts to recover its regional losses through a cooperation agreement with Russia.

 Residents from Derik, Girkê Legê, Çil axa and Tal Hamis will gather at Tishrin Dam. Assembly times are as follows: Derik at 6:30 AM at the city entrance; Girkê Legê at 6:30 AM in front of the People’s Council; Çil axa at 6:30 AM; and Tal Hamis at 8:00 AM in front of the People’s Council.
