Around 160 families in the villages of Kaniye Nabi, Dalvi Kira, Haliq and Kulijeh in the countryside of Garkê Legê have faced a drinking-water shortage for several years, amid a lack of artesian wells. Residents rely on water tankers and household wells whose water is unfit for drinking.
