A full year has passed since the events on the Syrian coast, yet their memories remain vivid among Syrians, especially among residents of the coastal region from the Alawite community. Despite the documentation of many violations that occurred at the time, the issue of accountability and achieving justice remains a matter of debate to this day.

Every year, International Women’s Day represents a symbolic occasion to celebrate women’s achievements. However, this celebration remains incomplete if it is not accompanied by a genuine awareness of women’s structural role in building society and strengthening its cohesion. Women are not merely a complementary element in the social structure; rather, they are a central actor in producing solidarity, sustaining values, and enhancing stability.
