Iraqi Professor Jawad Al-Baydani affirmed that the Kurdish issue is a historical one, and has long been a key to solving the problems and crises plaguing the region. He stressed that Turkey must realize that resolving this issue is a fundamental key to regional peace and should respond to calls for peace and abandon military solutions.

 Syrian writer Ali Al-Amin stated that Syria is undergoing a phase of reshaping its national identity after decades of oppression. He warned against the practices of the current regime, which are increasing tension and deepening divisions among Syrians, calling for an inclusive national dialogue.

 Although the Ottoman Empire’s occupation and centuries-long dominance of the Arab region ended with its defeat in World War I, its ambitions have not yet ended.
