Eight people were killed in various circumstances in various areas of Syria over the past 24 hours, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

In the western Homs countryside, a person was killed in an armed attack carried out by unknown assailants in a car, targeting him in front of his home in the village of Zafarana.

In the Damascus countryside, a girl was killed by a gunshot fired by her 15-year-old sister, who accidentally shot her while playing with their brother's weapon in the al-Tall area.

In the Quneitra countryside, a person was killed while herding livestock when a landmine left over from the war exploded in the eastern part of the town of Khan Arnabeh.

In southwest Damascus, two local militants were killed during clashes with auxiliary forces loyal to the Damascus government in the Ashrafieh Sahnaya area.

The body of a taxi driver from the al-Ward neighborhood was found in al-Mouwasat Hospital in Damascus, a day after contact with him was lost while working. No official explanation was given for the circumstances of his death.

In the occupied Afrin countryside, a person was killed by a landmine explosion left over from the war in the vicinity of the village of Khirbet Bas-Salhaya, in the Shirawa district.

In the city of Jableh, a citizen was killed by direct gunfire from unknown gunmen near the Izz al-Din al-Qassam School in the al-Jubaibat area.
