Residents of the city of Derik stressed the necessity of standing by the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), the People’s Protection Units (YPG), and the Women’s Protection Units (YPJ), and of continuing the path of struggle in line with the legacy of the martyrs. They affirmed their readiness to defend the region and protect Kurdish identity against any threat targeting it. (Photos and video attached).

Egyptian politicians and academics affirmed that guaranteeing Kurdish rights and recognizing the Autonomous Administration would enhance security and strengthen prospects for building a just and inclusive Syrian state. They warned that targeting the Kurds undermines efforts to combat ISIS, calling for urgent international action to protect the Kurds in Syria and to impose strict sanctions on any party that targets them.

Doctor Imran Hamid Hussein arrived in Rojava from the Sinjar (Shengal) district in response to the general mobilization call, to provide medical assistance to the people of the region amid ongoing attacks. A member of the Women’s Coordination in North and East Syria stated that the Kurds need strong unity to preserve the gains achieved in Rojava, calling on Kurds across all parts of Kurdistan to support and back the resistance in Rojava. (Photos and video attached).

Tribal elders in Rojava warned of the escalation of hate speech and attempts to sow discord among social components, affirming their commitment to historical coexistence and social unity. Displaced persons who recently arrived from the cities of Tabqa and Raqqa to towns and cities in the Jazira Canton, together with relief institutions and organizations, continue to coordinate their efforts to identify needs and submit them to the relevant authorities. (Photos and video attached).

The Martyrs’ Families Council in the city of Qamishlo is organizing a ceremony for the martyr Ahmad Omar, who joined the Rojava resistance from the city of Kirkuk in South Kurdistan. The ceremony will be held at the Martyr Dalil Sarokhan Cemetery in Qamishlo at 10:30. (Photos and video attached).
