On April 22, Kurds celebrate Kurdish Press Day, commemorating the beginning of a free media struggle since the publication of the "Kurdistan" newspaper in 1898, and honoring journalists who faced repression.

Displaced residents of Afrin affirmed that there is no security in Afrin as long as the Turkish state and its mercenaries are present. They stated: “We want to return to our land and homes under the banner of our party.” (Photos and videos attached)

A member of the Martyrs' Families Council in the city of Amuda stressed that the fundamental solution to the Kurdish issue begins with achieving the physical freedom of leader Abdullah Ocalan and the necessity for the Turkish state to recognize the rights of the Kurdish people, who have declared their readiness to implement the call for peace and democratic society.
