Residents of the city of Çil Agha emphasized the importance of strengthening national unity amid the current circumstances in Syria. They pointed out that solidarity and unity among different components are essential foundations to confront attempts to create division among peoples through sectarian and inciting rhetoric. To commemorate the 38th anniversary of the Halabja Chemical Attack carried out by the Iraqi Ba’ath regime against the Kurdish people, residents of cities in Rojava will remember the victims by observing a minute of silence and issuing statements by the Martyrs’ Families Council in several cities at 11:00.
