Hasakah Governor meets presidential envoy to implement January 29 agreement

Al-Hasakah Governor Nour Al-Din Ahmad met with the presidential envoy, Ziad Al-Ayesh, to discuss the completion of the implementation of the January 29 agreement, including the detainees file, the judicial palace, and the return of displaced persons to their homes.

The Governor of Al-Hasakah, Engineer Nour Al-Din Ahmad, held a long meeting today with the presidential envoy, Ziad Al-Ayesh, to continue the implementation of the January 29 agreement, according to the official Al-Hasakah Governorate page on Facebook.

The attendees discussed several critical files, foremost among them the detainees file, the judicial palace file, and the return of displaced persons to their homes, in addition to other related issues.

A number of understandings were reached, most notably the agreement to activate the judicial palace according to a specific mechanism within the coming days, as well as plans to release more than 300 detainees in the near future.

It was also confirmed that the practical steps for integration would continue, amid a positive atmosphere reflecting all parties’ commitment to achieving tangible progress on these issues.
