German Special Envoy to Syria refers to repercussions of Turkish escalation on Kobani

German Special Envoy to Syria, Stefan Schneck, pointed out the repercussions of the increased attacks by the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries on Kobani, stating that "they will be catastrophic for civilians and will have a severely negative impact on the international war against terrorism."

In a tweet on social media, German Special Envoy to Syria, Stefan Schneck, highlighted the dangers of the military escalation by the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries on the North and East Syria region.

"In a phone call with the Commander of the Syrian Democratic Forces, General Mazloum Abdi, we discussed the increasing tensions in Kobani and possible ways to alleviate escalation between the SDF and Turkish-backed forces will be catastrophic for civilians and could have a severely negative impact on the international war against terrorism and the political process in Syria," Schneck said.

The Turkish occupation and its mercenaries have been launching various air and ground attacks on several areas in the North and East Syria, focusing on the vicinity of Kobani, since the downfall of Bashar's regime.

Just a few hours ago, Turkish artillery shelling led to the martyrdom of a woman and her child in the village of Jadah in the southern countryside of Kobani.
