General Council of AANES approves Endowments Law
During its 90th regular session, the General Council of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria approved the Endowments Law, making it an effective law.
With the participation of representatives of the Democratic Islam Conference, members of the General Council in the Autonomous and Civil Administrations of North and East Syria, and the advisor to the Joint Presidency of the General Council in the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria Hassan Koçer, the 90th session of the General Council in the Autonomous Administration was held.
The session included an assessment by the Advisor to the Joint Presidency of the General Council of the Autonomous Administration, Hassan Koçer, of the political situation and the latest developments that occurred in the Middle East in general and NE Syria in particular, and the continued attacks of the Turkish state on NE Syria.
The participants discussed the articles of the Endowments Law and approved them, so that the law becomes effective from the date of its issuance today.
The Endowments Law includes 28 articles aimed at supervising and following up on all religious activities, developing Sharia education at all levels, in addition to regulating fatwas and following up on the affairs of those in charge of them.
