The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip reported that 14 people were killed in Israeli airstrikes on various areas in the Strip since dawn on Saturday, noting that 60 dead and 284 injured people arrived at hospitals in the Strip over the past 24 hours. It clarified that the statistics do not include hospitals in the northern Gaza Strip governorate due to the difficulty of accessing them.

The Ministry announced that the death toll from the Israeli bombardment of Gaza has risen to 54,381, and 124,054 wounded, since October 7, 2023. It noted that 4,117 of these deaths occurred since the resumption of the Israeli offensive on March 18.

The Walla website quoted Israeli military sources on Saturday morning as saying that its forces in the Gaza Strip "made further progress last night in controlling and clearing the city of Khan Yunis."

The source said that "most parts of the city are now empty of civilians, but terrorists are hiding above and below the ground," and that "the army is not content with merely occupying territory, but is systematically destroying the terrorists' infrastructure, making it impossible to return."

Meanwhile, CNN reported that "since the ceasefire collapsed on March 18, nearly 80% of the Gaza Strip has been classified by Israel as a military zone or has been subject to evacuation orders." The agency's report stated that the Israeli army has "systematically destroyed homes, factories, and agricultural land, almost completely banned fishing, and destroyed most fishing boats."

The report indicated that Israel has "imposed a buffer zone approximately one kilometer wide along the Gaza Strip" and "completely prohibits Gaza residents from accessing an area no wider than two to three kilometers."
