Funeral procession of Commander Ziyad Halab, fighters Birûsk, Malek sets off

The funeral procession for the bodies of martyrs commander Ziyad Halab and the fighters Birûsk and Malek has now set off, amid a large public turnout from all components of the North and East Syria region, heading toward the Martyr Dijla Shrine to hold a solemn ceremony worthy of their sacrifices.

The funeral procession of martyrs commander Ziyad Halab and the fighters Birûsk and Malek set off toward the Martyr Dijla Shrine, with large crowds from the people of North and East Syria (Kurds, Arabs, Syriacs, and Armenians) participating. The procession moved from the Martyrs’ Families Center to the Martyr Dijla Shrine to hold a solemn ceremony worthy of their sacrifices.

Officials of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, leaders of the Syrian Democratic Forces, and Internal Security Forces are expected to take part in the ceremony, along with representatives of political, women’s, youth, religious, social, cultural, and artistic organizations, in addition to tribal elders and sheikhs.

For their part, the institutions operating under the umbrella of the Democratic Society Movement in the Euphrates Canton, with all their unions and chambers, announced a day of mourning and their participation in the funeral ceremony.
