TISHRIN DAM

NEWS The resistance of the protesters at Tishrin Dam has now entered its 38th day. Despite cold weather and heavy rainfall, the demonstrators insist that their action will persist until the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries stop their attacks.

Since December 8, 2024, Tishrin Dam has been subjected to intense attacks by the Turkish occupation, including airstrikes, drone assaults, and heavy artillery bombardment.

On January 8, convoys of residents from North and East Syria headed toward Tishrin Dam to stop the Turkish occupation's attacks and protect the dam from collapse. However, these convoys were also targeted, resulting in the martyrdom of 24 civilians so far.
