Member of the Presidency of the Democratic Union Party, Fawza Yousef, spoke to ANHA's agency about the attacks of the occupying Turkish state on the North and East of Syria region, and the message of Leader Abdullah Ocalan.

Fawza Yousef commented on the attacks of the occupying Turkish state on the North and East of Syria region, indicating that they are the result of the continuation of the brutal policy against the Kurdish people and said: "Targeting the infrastructure in the regions of North and East of Syria and killing women, children and citizens is a war crime and a crime against humanity."

"It wants to legitimize its attacks under false pretexts" Fawza Youssef pointed out that the Autonomous Administration has nothing to do with the operation carried out in Turkey, which the Turkish occupation state uses as a pretext for its attacks. She said: "The Turkish state seeks to justify and legitimize its brutal attacks under false pretexts and false allegations. The Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria has nothing to do with the incident that took place in Turkey. The Turkish state attacks North and East Syria after every operation carried out there, and it seeks to pave the way for extremist forces and use them to eliminate the Autonomous Administration and occupy the region."

"Tactics change but goals do not change" Fawza Yousef pointed to the policies of the Turkish state and stated that it changes its tactics regarding the Kurds but its goal remains the same. She continued her speech by saying: "The Turkish government is living in a state of confusion as a result of the duality resulting from its failed policies. If it does not abandon its policies of denial and genocide, it will not be able to make any changes. Turkey relies on the military option to resolve issues, which has always failed. The Turkish state confirms in its recent attacks that it is changing its tactics, but it has not changed its strategy and goal towards the Kurds and the region."

"If they want to solve the issue, they must recognize the rights of the Kurds"

"If Turkey wants to solve its issues, it must recognize the rights of the Kurdish people and the region." With these words, Fawza Yousef pointed to the solution and continued her speech, saying: "It has been fighting the existence of the Kurdish people for a century, and it has done everything and sold everything to win, but it must know that it will not be able to eliminate the will of the Kurdish people and the peoples in general. If Turkey wants to solve its issues, it must recognize the rights of the Kurdish people and the rights of the peoples of the region. Its actions have only created hatred and anger among the peoples, so it cannot succeed in these policies."

Fawza Yousef mentioned that the Turkish state has failed internally and externally, and said: "In response to this failure, we must strengthen the unity of our ranks no matter what happens, and defend our land and dignity together in a unified manner, because any attack on a region is an attack on our future." During her speech,

Fawza Yousef addressed the silence of the international coalition and Russia, and stated that this silence paves the way for attacks. She said: “Opening the airspace of the Turkish state is done with the approval of these forces, and we call on them to put an end to these double-edged and unjust policies against us.”

Turkish statements

Regarding the Turkish statements about Leader Abdullah Ocalan and the Kurdish issue, Fawza Yousef said, "Whatever the intentions behind these statements, they indicate these matters, the collapse of the Turkish strategy based on military methods, and the defeat of the isolation regime over Leader Abdullah Ocalan. Leader Abdullah Ocalan is the first negotiator for peace and the key to the solution is in the leader's hands, and the Kurdish issue has turned into a regional and global issue. The Kurds now possess a strategic power, and without them, politics cannot succeed.

Fawza Youssef pointed out that Turkey stands at a crossroads, either changing its strategy towards the Kurds, or facing the fate of many countries in the region. "Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who was the godfather of the Greater Middle East project, may become a target for the project itself. If the Kurdish issue is resolved rationally and peacefully, this will contribute to a new birth for Turkey."

`Once again, the last word belongs to Leader Abdullah Ocalan`

On October 24, a meeting was held with Leader Abdullah Ocalan after 44 months of not allowing meetings, and the leader's message was published through his nephew, Omar Ocalan.

Foza Yosef, a member of the PYD's Presidency, said: "The situation of Leader Abdullah Oalan does not only affect the Kurds, but also the entire region and the world. Therefore, hearing information from him is important for the peoples of the region. The content of the message is clear, despite all the policies of exclusion and isolation, but the last word still belongs to the leader and this has greatly affected the peoples of the region. Therefore, the allegations that Leader Abdullah Ocalan's influence has declined are unfounded. Leader Abdullah Ocalan is the interlocutor for a solution and peace."
